Copyright Permission Guidelines 
Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange (“Federated”) copyright materials may not be reproduced in whole or in part without the prior written permission of Federated.

Federated’s copyright materials include content on its Web site, the designer layout of the Web site (including individual sections of the design or layout of the Web site), any and all written documents, policies, procedures, brochures, reports or other material distributed by Federated, any and all training programs or videos produced by Federated, and any other works of “original authorship.”

To obtain permission to copy or use Federated’s copyrighted material, the following steps must be taken:     

1. All requests must be submitted in writing to William R. Birkeness, Administrative Manager, Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange, Post Office Box 15147, Lenexa, Kansas 66285-5147, by fax to Mr. Birkeness at 913-541-2847, or by e-mail to wrb@federatedrural.com

Requests must:

1. Include the requestor’s name, address and telephone number.

2. Identify the exact material that is being requested to be copied and the title of the publication, video or the Web site URL address from which the material is taken.  Page numbers and copyright dates must be included.

3. State exactly how the material will be used and distributed and if the materials will be sold.

4. Incomplete requests will be returned for missing information. 

5. Please allow ten (10) business days for requests to be processed.

6. The Federated copyright statement must be included on the reproduction.  The requestor must identify and credit Federated as the source of the material with the following statement:

Warranties
Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange specifically disclaims all warranties with respect to our Web pages or your use thereof, express, implied, or otherwise, including without limitation, all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
